Blunt, beautiful, boundless, Patti Craig was a dear friend for more than 40 years who loved and wrote poetry, loved music, and loved to sing songs by Leonard Cohen, Ella Fitzgerald and several other jazz singers.
Always the humanist, she dedicated her life to helping others and to understanding others.
She loved people and life. From a bum on the street to the kings of business she loved them all.
Sometimes shy. Sometimes outrageous. Always a woman.
One of the last things I said to her before she died was that she had done very well, very well indeed, and she smiled.
I’m proud to say she and I were friends. I and many others miss her greatly.
